Hobat Resources is keen on sourcing various kinds of forestry products from well-protected, sustainable wood plantation areas strictly in compliance with the following standards:
All FSC certified woods are sourced according to FSC policy and criteria.
All members are prohibited in involving, directly/indirectly, in any of the following unacceptable activities:
a) Illegal logging or the trade in illegal wood or forest products;
b) Violation of traditional and human rights in forestry operations;
c) Destruction of high conservation values in forestry operations;
d) Significant conversion of forests to plantations or non-forest use;
e) Introduction of genetically modified organisms in forestry operations;
f) Violation of any of the ILO Core Conventions as defined in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.

a) Gathers information about the products intended for supply to Market.
b) Analyses and evaluates the risk of illegally harvested products being placed on the Market.
c) Includes appropriate risk mitigation procedures, to minimize the risk of placing illegal products on the Market.
